Senior Manager, Kroger Labeled Product Imports Sourcing

Kroger is looking for an experienced global sourcing leader to help build and scale our direct-import capabilities across our private-label portfolio. This role will lead Kroger’s direct-import agenda across a broad private-label portfolio. You’ll work across sourcing, buying, logistics and forecasting to: Identify, qualify and competitively source international suppliersLead RFI and RFP processes across product categoriesTransition categories from brokers and agents to direct Kroger ownershipManage supplier cost, service and order performanceTranslate U.S. category priorities into sourcing objectives for teams in Asia-Pacific and Latin AmericaBuild the processes, systems and data requirements needed to scale direct importsWe’re seeking a leader with:8 to 10 years of sourcing experiencePrivate-label category or sourcing management expertiseInternational sourcing experience across overseas suppliers and import lead times A demonstrated ability to deliver against savings targetsExperience transitioning categories from brokers or agents to internal ownership without disrupting serviceThe influence to align category owners and cross-functional partners around a committed sourcing strategy
