We are seeking an Otolaryngologist to provide facial trauma and ENT call coverage in South Carolina. This is a call-only assignment with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities.
Overview:
Call Schedule: 8a 8a (unless otherwise noted)
Call Type: Hotel call (not in-house) after daily responsibilities are complete
Facility: 500+ bed Level II Trauma Center
Covering all ENT and facial trauma cases presenting to the EDPerforming surgical procedures as needed Rounding on post-operative and inpatient cases Providing consults Must be comfortable managing facial trauma, including: Mandible fractures Orbital floor fractures Eyelid lacerations Approx. 5 6 consults per day (can be higher on weekends)
Requirements:- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Active South Carolina Medical LicenseCSR (Controlled Substance Registration)DEA (must be eligible for permanent SC registration)
- Comfortable working independently in a high-volume trauma setting
