CNC Programmer

Responsibilities: Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, or multi-axis machining operations Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models to create accurate toolpaths Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and workholding Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks to maintain tight tolerances Troubleshoot and edit existing programs to improve cycle times and surface finishes Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize manufacturing processes Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and revisions

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar Strong ability to read and interpret GD&T, blueprints, and technical drawings Experience with G-code and M-code programming Familiarity with multi-axis CNC machining (3, 4, or 5-axis) preferred Vertical and Horizontal Mills Knowledge of metals, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills
