The Jewelry Group is seeking a part-time Selling Specialist (18 hours a week) based in Garden City, NY (Roosevelt Field Macy’s). The Selling Specialist will be responsible for selling the following Jewelry Group brands: Givenchy, Donna Karan, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld, and Anne KleinThe essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Engaging with customers and closing sales for The Jewelry Group brandsDeveloping relationships in store with associates and all levels of managementCommunicating trends, product knowledge, and selling information to the storeMaintaining brand presentationsEnsure that promotional and markdown events are executed correctly at store levelReporting issues and concerns to Regional ManagerCompleting weekly time sheets and store reportsThe qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Must be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during prime selling hours (12-6pm) Strong communication and customer engagement skills 3 years of previous retail, selling and/or merchandising experienceBasic knowledge of selling reports and sales to stock ratioAn EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
