APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Substitute Teacher Position We are seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher will follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Teaching certification or substitute teacher certification required
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and environments
- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice
Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and discipline when necessary
- Provide instruction to students in various subjects
- Communicate with school administrators and staff as needed
- Complete all required paperwork and reports
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of Level II Background Screenings and Safe Environment Trainings
- Compliance with all school policies and procedures
- Willingness to commit to on-call or short-notice assignments
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff effectively
