Responsibilities:- Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and buffet stations.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting for upcoming events.
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their needs are met with courtesy.
- Provide menu knowledge and assist guests with dietary preferences when needed.
- Operations Support:
- Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate and efficient event execution.
- Monitor inventory levels of banquet supplies during events.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow.
- Clean-Up & Maintenance:
- Clean and reset event spaces post-function.
- Ensure all equipment is returned to storage properly.
- Assist with routine inventory checks of linens, liquor, and banquet supplies.
Additional Duties:- Assist the Food & Beverage Team in other areas during non-banquet or event periods.
- Weekday and weekend availability
- Ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banquet setting, preferably in a resort or high-volume setting.
