As our Breakfast Attendant, you are the reliable center of our morning service, responsible for guest satisfaction, accurate service, and maintaining the dining area. Service Excellence & Salesmanship: Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, usingsuggestive selling techniqueswhen appropriate. Clear tables during service. Providedirect service to guestsas needed, includingbusing tables and seating guests .Financial & Clerical Duties: Control guest checks and secure proper payment, including performinggeneral clerical/cashier duties .Station Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure station and table set-ups are completeand perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment .Compliance & Certifications: Food Handling Certification is required. ANevada Alcohol Card is required (if applicable)for serving any alcoholic beverages. Attendance & Reliability: Regular attendanceis essential to performance. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, you must be prepared towork varying schedulesto reflect the business needs of the hotel. Full compliance with Sandpiper Hospitality/Courtyard Reno rules and regulationsis mandatory. Physical Demands of the Role
This position requires stamina and the ability to maintain a fast pace throughout the service period: Mobility: Position requires frequentwalkingand the ability tostand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hoursin length. Must be able tomaneuver between functions occurring simultaneouslyin limited space. Environment: Most work is performedindoorsin moderate, controlled temperatures, but youmust be able to work in extreme temperatureslikefreezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)for periods of time.
