Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong PL/SQL experience to join our team for a contract-based, onsite role in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing enterprise-level applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and integrating with Oracle PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages.
Integrate Java applications with Oracle databases.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills:
- 9-12+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL – procedures, triggers, packages.
- Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Cloud is required
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
