Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses acceptedBLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of experience at one location/hospital required
- Trauma-informed, patient-centered care skills required
- Verbal de-escalation skills required
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start date via NURSYS and BONFlu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Pediatric Psychiatry unit providing 24-hour care for patients ages 4-18 Nurturing, non-coercive, trauma-informed care environment30-bed unit with a census of 20-25 patientsRN to patient ratio of 1 to 3Uses EPIC EMR charting system
- Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with every other weekend36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Floating required to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHURotating shifts not required for night positions
- Provide inpatient psychiatric nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients ages 3-17 Free on-site parking available
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applyingRTO must be identified prior to consideration
