Location: Bakersfield, CA
Pay: $18.50/hr($17.00/hr base pay + $1.50/hr shift differential)
Shift: 2nd Shift (4:30 PM - 1:00 AM)
Training begins on 1st shift Build more than trusses — build your career. We're seeking experienced truss builders, framers, or construction professionals to join our fast-paced Truss Production Team at 84 Lumber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble roof and floor trusses using jigs, nail guns, and other tools
- Read and build accurately from engineered blueprints
- Focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Truss, framing, or general construction experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and operate power tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

- Verify truss set up is accurate.
- Perform daily operator maintenance.
- Maintain 100% crew efficiency.
- Mark individual trusses when required.

Qualifications:
- Able to read and write in their primary language.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to read or able to learn to read a set up sheet.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
