Fabrication Door Specialist At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), we are seeking a skilled Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision and professionalism. This role requires technical know-how, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to top-tier customer service. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
- Maintain a full understanding of all products
- Perform small projects as directed by Management
- Maintain a full understanding of all products and a basic knowledge of equipment to identify needed repairs
- Read and understand instructions and procedure manuals
- Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math skills
- Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Able to work in a diverse, fast paced, technology-driven environment 2+ years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related technical field
- Experience with commercial doors, frames, hardware, or similar products preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic equipment
- Able to read a tape measure, take accurate measurements, and perform basic math
- Able to read and follow work instructions and technical specifications
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
