English Tutor

Responsibilities: Plan and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of each student Assess students language skills and develop customized learning plans Use a variety of instructional techniques to engage students and facilitate learning Monitor student progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about students progress Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to share ideas and resources Requirements Bachelors degree in English Education or related field Proven experience as an English tutor or teacher Excellent knowledge of English grammar vocabulary and pronunciation Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred qualifications Masters degree in TESOL Linguistics or related field Experience working with non-native speakers of English Familiarity with language assessment tools such as TOEFL or IELTS Experience teaching online or using technology in the classroom Salary The salary for this position is $1300 per month Location This position is located in Washington However due to current circumstances we are open to candidates who are able to work remotely
