Maintain the overall curb appeal, cleanliness, and appearance of the community by performing groundskeeping duties, trash removal, and exterior maintenance. Complete minor repairs throughout the property, assist with snow and ice removal as needed, and carry out additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor to support the safe and efficient operation of the community.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We're seeking a Grounds Person with whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will ensure that the physical asset is maintained in good condition and that everything is clean and sanitary. In addition, the Grounds Person is responsible for keeping an inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting requests when supplies get low. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:Maintain cleanliness of all community common areas in accordance with internal quality control standardsEnsure that sidewalks, parking areas, and building interiors are free of trash and debrisPerform daily audits of community grounds and report findings to managementAssist with apartment turnover process, as neededTest smoke detectors in all vacant apartmentsMaintain positive relationships with all team members and customersContribute to community/company engagement effortsPerform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisorJOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Ability to communicate in written formAbility to understand and follow directionsAbility to lift and carry 80 poundsHigh school diploma or GED
