Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. This position supports emergency care services on night shifts in a 12-hour schedule. The role requires recent emergency nursing experience, completion of an accredited nursing program, and current licensure and certifications appropriate for emergency and pediatric patient care.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
National Certification Corporation National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificate.
