Position Overview:- Under the direction of the Dietitian and reporting to the Director of Dining Services, the Certified Dietary Manager plays a key role in supporting clinical nutrition services and ensuring the smooth, safe, and effective daily operation of the food services department.
- This position is responsible for carrying out assigned clinical tasks, communicating essential clinical information to supervisors, and helping maintain the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and departmental performance.
- Minimum Education
- Graduate of an accredited Dietary Manager Program
- Successful completion of the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Exam
- Minimum Experience
- Two years of healthcare food service experience preferred
Required Qualifications:- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and supervise food service personnel
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills; mechanical aptitude helpful
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting standards of care
- ServSafe Certification required
