Mechanical Technician Assist Development Team with technical support necessary for the department to meet project schedules in alignment with objectives. Assemble prototypes, sub-assemblies, engineering builds, trade show units, etc. Perform testing of components, PCBs, sub-assemblies and modules under the direction of Development Engineers. Assist in troubleshooting problems associated with systems, instruments, modules, sub-assemblies, components, etc. Procure material internally and externally. Rework material or instruments as required. Identify root cause, design issues or design improvements Assist with departmental tasks such as maintenance /operation of 3D printers and other lab equipment.
