This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about working in the machinery and logistics industries, and who are eager to apply their bilingual communication skills in a client-facing role. Candidates with a background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field are especially encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties:
- Visit Japanese and local clients to assess their needs in machinery transportation, equipment installation, and automotive import/export
- Propose solutions and services tailored to client requirements
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal operations teams
- Create quotations, support in contract preparation, and manage related documentation
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular visits and communication
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed
- Report sales activity and market insights to the management team
- Working Hours, Working StyleFull-time, Monday through FridayField-based position with frequent travel within the assigned region
- Independent, client-facing role with internal coordination and team support

- Primary sales territories: Illinois (IL), Kentucky (KY), Tennessee (TN), Indiana (IN), Alabama (AL)
- Office base or home office to be determined based on candidate's location

Salary/Benefit
Annual salary: $35,000 – $50,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Qualifications:
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong interest in machinery, logistics, and international business
- Valid driver's license
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
