Histology Technologist II - Neurosciences Building

Requirements: Associates Degree in Science or Applied Science (or equivalent) and/or Bachelor's Degree - completion of an accredited training program in Histotechnology. OR May consider two years histology work experience with a High School Diploma, and eligibility to sit for the ASCP certification test (HT or HLT). Skills Embeddingproper orientation and block preparation for optimal sectioning Microtomycutting high quality paraffin sections using a microtome. Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) stainingmastery of routine staining techniques Special Stains and IHC slide preparation. Specimen handling and managementensure accurate labeling, tracking and integrity is maintained per accreditation and departmental requirements.
