Mail clerk

Pay Range: $18/hr - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities: Operate high-volume mail processing equipment and ensure efficient mail handling. Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Maintain records for management reports and inventory of supplies. Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding mail status. Perform basic maintenance on equipment and assist with shipping and receiving tasks. Use various office equipment, including scanners and computers, to manage mail operations. Ensure the upkeep of mail areas, keeping them organized and well-stocked.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have mail handling, mail sorting, or mail processing experience. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Some related copy job experience is preferred. Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. Valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage. Experience with image handling software and document scanning equipment.
