Job Responsibilities:
- Assist inimplementing occupational therapy treatment plans under thesupervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Guide patientsthrough therapeutic activities focused on improving dailyliving skills
- Monitor patient progress and report anychanges or concerns to the supervising Occupational
- TherapistEducate patients and caregivers on adaptivetechniques and proper use of equipment
- Maintain accurateand timely documentation of treatments and patientprogress
- Ensure compliance with facility policies andregulatory standards
Requirements:
- Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistantin California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 yearspreferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility orgeriatric setting is a plus
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
