Fire And Emergency Services Flight Supervisor DutiesPlan, organize, and oversee the activities of the Fire and Emergency Services Flight. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with personnel, manpower, other staff officials, and municipal and other federal fire departments. Assume full charge at fire, or emergency situations, directing activities and personnel, transmitting instructions to Assistant Chiefs on the scene or other personnel as to the procedures to be followed. Determine need, budget for, and recommend acquisition of additional and/or different fire protection, firefighting, and specialized rescue equipment, contract services, formal training, etc.
