Job Description:
The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor leads full-shift warehouse operations at Paluo Solar’s high-volume solar panel manufacturing facility. This role supervises a team of 15–20 warehouse employees and oversees the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products supporting Silicon and Thin Film PV manufacturing lines. The position requires strong leadership, hands-on operational oversight, and bilingual Chinese/English communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and develop warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, material handlers, inventory clerks, and packaging staff.
Oversee receiving, staging, storage, and distribution of raw materials to production.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, carrier scheduling, documentation, and customer requirements.
Maintain inventory control through cycle counts, reconciliation, and accurate ERP/WMS data.
Ensure timely material flow to manufacturing lines and support uninterrupted 24/7 production.
Oversee forklift and material-handling equipment operations, including safe usage and employee training.
Direct packaging, labeling, palletizing, and preparation of finished goods for shipment.
Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, OSHA compliance, and clean, organized warehouse standards.
Required Qualifications3–5 years of warehouse leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar high-volume environment.
Experience supervising teams of 10 or more employees.
Knowledge of inventory control, material handling, shipping, receiving, and warehouse workflow.
Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Ability to operate and train employees on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable.
Ability to work an assigned day or night shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Fluency in Chinese and English to support cross-functional communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in solar, semiconductor, electronics, or other technical manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting startup or rapidly scaling operations.
