Work Environment: This role is primarily onsite, meaning you will perform physical therapy in the homes of patients across Lake Worth and surrounding areas. This unique setting allows for one-on-one support and the ability to tailor interventions that suit each individual's environment, lifestyle, and preferences. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to their specific sports-related injuries. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and strength training. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and progress. Educate patients and their families about injury management strategies, performance enhancement techniques, and long-term wellness practices. Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical records (EMR), modifying treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes. Engage in performance improvement initiatives and community outreach efforts focusing on sports health, education, and injury prevention. Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on athletes of all levels—ranging from weekend warriors to competitive sports professionals—who are looking to safely return to their activities post-injury. You will also work with active individuals seeking to improve their physical condition and overall health. Understanding the unique demands and psychology of sports enthusiasts will be crucial for successful engagement and recovery.

Qualifications: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid Florida PT license or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date. A minimum of 2 years of experience in sports medicine or orthopedic physical therapy is preferred. Strong communication skills aimed at effectively instructing and motivating patients through their rehabilitation journey. CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience: Certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) or the commitment to achieve it shortly after hire is highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in treating varied orthopedic conditions within a sports context, particularly using contemporary therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
