In this role, you'll perform hands-on mechanical assembly using blueprints, schematics, and precision tools while ensuring every build meets strict quality standards.
What You'll Do:- Assemble mechanical components and machines using blueprints and schematics
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical assemblies
- Use precision tools (torque wrenches, gauges, indicators) to meet tolerances
- Operate overhead crane to move large components during assembly
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas aligned with lean principles
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- What You'll Bring 2+ years of assembly experience OR 5+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or service
- Ability to read blueprints and basic schematics
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and measure in both inch and metric systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Electrical wiring experience, forklift, or computer skills are a plus
