Qualifications:
Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, master's degree or higher with an endorsement in psychometry
Essential Duties:
Select, administer, score, and develop reports for cognitive and social/behavioral assessments.
Review student records and analyze information pertinent to assessments.
Arrange for prompt testing according to timelines that have been set for assigned tasks.
Communicate and coordinate scheduling with school personnel.
May assist in the interpretation of scores as well as educational implications as part of an established team.
Establish rapport and work in a constructive, positive manner with staff and students.
Proficiently use technology to administer required assessments and develop reports.
Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director of Special Education may, from time to time, assign or delegate.
