Warehouse Lead Opportunity Do you have 13 years of leadership experience in a warehouse, production, or similar hands-on environment? This full-time Warehouse Lead opportunity with a tire distribution company is a great fit for someone who enjoys working alongside a team, setting the pace, and helping employees succeed. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will continue performing warehouse duties while helping lead the team and keep daily operations running smoothly. In this role, you will help train employees, reinforce procedures, support shipping and receiving, and hold the team accountable for productivity, safety, and efficiency. You will be a go-to resource for the team and help create a positive, productive work environment. This Temp-to-Hire opportunity offers overtime opportunities and stability in a long-term leadership role. The position is based in a busy tire distribution warehouse and is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their warehouse or production career.
Warehouse Lead Duties:
Train and support warehouse employees while setting a positive example on the floor.
Lead shipping and receiving activities, including picking and customer pickups.
Reinforce warehouse procedures and hold team members accountable for productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Handle day-to-day questions and issues, escalating more complex concerns to management.
Help ensure outbound shipments are completed on time, support opening or closing the warehouse as needed, and perform heavy lifting of up to 80 pounds.
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed
Expected to work approximately 4050 hours per week, including overtime as needed.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Warehouse Lead Requirements:- 13 years of leadership experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Warehouse or production experience with exposure to shipping, receiving, inventory, picking, or customer pickups.
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment focused on labor efficiency, productivity, safety, and following procedures.
- Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Ability and willingness to perform hands-on physical warehouse duties while leading the team.
- Able to lift up to 80lbs
