This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours Per Week: 36-hour guarantee Qualifications Current New York State Registered Nurse license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Experience with MEDITECH software is mandatory. Previous travel nursing experience is required. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Critical Care experience and charge nursing experience are preferred. Ability to effectively identify and intervene in life-threatening situations. Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and quality patient care standards. Strong assessment skills for clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual patient needs. Recognize and mitigate safety issues for self and others, including proper patient lifting techniques. Ability to function under stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills. Strong leadership abilities, with skills in prioritizing and delegating tasks. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must successfully complete a lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and become defibrillation certified within six months of hire. Certification in IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy required during orientation.
