Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Construction Flagger. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.(This description may not include all duties required of this position)workas part of a traffic control crew, moving and maintaining traffic control devices and flagging traffic through and around a commercial construction job sitefollow safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devicesdirecting movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signalsEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & ExperienceNCCER Flagger certification strongly preferredConstruction flagger experience preferredMay operate a variety of hand tools as well as some equipmentTypical work conditions are in an outside environment with potential inclement weatherMust have the ability and be willing to work a 8-12 hour day/shiftMust be able and willing to walk, stoop and stand for long periods of timeMust adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug free environmentEOE/Vets/Disabilities
