Job Description: Required tasks include preventive maintenance inspections, emergency and road failure repairs, and general maintenance on electrical, HVAC, brake and accessory systems. Skills and ExperienceTransit and Motorcoach HVAC experience Wheel chair lift experience helpful Mechanics must own basic hand tools Basic understanding of diesel engines, tires, air brake systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and able to perform necessary preventative maintenance and repair in all aspects, with proper training Cummins and Detroit experience; certifications a plus Ford and Chevrolet gas and diesel experience Alternative fuel experience a plus Ability to read and trouble shoot wiring schematics Power-trained and electrical diagnosing Allison transmission experience preferred Advance complex wiring diagnosing preferred Document all work completed and parts used OfferingSalary range based on experience and qualifications BenefitsDirect deposit Uniforms Medical (Employer pays 75% of employee only) Dental Vision Supplemental Benefit 40k with company match PTO Schedule1st and 2nd shifts / Weekends
