California-Licensed Associate Attorney- Civil Litigation Our client, a well-established and growing law firm is seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney- Civil Litigation in Sacramento, California. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution while working closely with experienced attorneys to develop case strategies and provide exceptional client service. Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Prepare for and participate in depositions
- Conduct and defend depositions as experience develops
- Argue motions and appear in court
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation planning
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy
- Maintain strong organization and case management across multiple matters
Qualifications:
- Active California State Bar membership and good standing required
- Prior litigation or law firm experience preferred, but not required
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong time-management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, motivated, and willing to take ownership of assignments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $125,000-$175,000, depending on experience
