St. Josephs Women's Hospital 3030 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
Status: Parttime; 32 hours per pay period
Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
On Call: YesAlways in person
Summary:
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standardsRN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care teamRN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organizationRN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration. This is a Part-Time position set to work four (4) 8-hour shifts per bi-weekly pay period. Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position Interpersonal skills Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support)RN (Registered Nurse)ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty
Education: Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
Experience: Required includes 2 years RN experience
Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship or 1 year Operating Room experience.
