Production Painter We are looking for a Production Painter 1 to support our paint/wet chemistry department. As a member of the paint/wet chemistry department, you'll get to paint and prime a variety of aerospace structures. This position will serve on-site at Space Structures.
Responsibilities:
Coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun. Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Basic Qualifications for Production Painter 1 High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 9 months of painting or surface prep experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, or manufacturing environment. US Citizenship required Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a medical/respiratory evaluation for half and full-face respirators, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in enclosed/confined spaces This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is our intent, this is not a promise to hire by the company. This contract position aligns with our full-time role of production painter.
