Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, coordinate and implement individualized rehab plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team. You will monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Monitoring patient recovery and compiling reports for the attending physician. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment. Supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and assistants. Proficient in clinical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle stressful situations and emotional patients Knowledge of healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
