Security Officer (Part-Time)

Location: Dublin, OH 43017 (On-site)

Schedule: Part-time | 12 hours/week Pay:$20.53/hr Scheduling note (part-time): Must be able to support day shift coverage at minimum either (2) six-hour shifts/week or (1) twelve-hour shift/week. Additional shifts/hours may be available and can be picked up from the open shift log as desired.

Responsibilities: Perform daily security procedures to help protect people, property, and facility assets Conduct routine patrols and monitor for suspicious activity, safety risks, and security incidents Enforce site security policies, procedures, and safety standards Support emergency response actions and follow escalation protocols as needed Respond to security and/or medical incidents; document actions and outcomes clearly Complete incident reports and maintain detailed, accurate documentation Identify physical security risks and support basic risk mitigation efforts Assist with security audits and investigations when requested Provide professional customer service at security desks and when interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors Scheduling note (part-time): Must be able to support day shift coverage at minimum either (2) six-hour shifts/week or (1) twelve-hour shift/week. Qualifications: High school diploma (required) 1+ year of experience in a related field (required) Prior security industry experience (preferred) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow written procedures Strong written/verbal communication skills for incident documentation and reporting CPR/AED certification (preferred) EMT-Basic certification (preferred) Paramedic experience (preferred)
