This is a 217-bed acute care hospital with a collaborative hospitalist program supported by multiple medical specialties, including Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, and Infectious Disease. The coverage model includes four daytime Hospitalists (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), two NP/PAs (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), and one dedicated Nocturnist (7:00 PM 7:00 AM). The ICU is closed, and no procedures are required. The facility utilizes Meditech as its EMR. Candidate Requirements Nurse Practitioners Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) for intensivist/critical care schedules Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active, unrestricted Ohio NP license Active DEA Current AANP or ANCC certification ACLS certification required Why WPA Medicine Staffing?
