Die Maker

Key Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, die models, and product prototypes to plan machining and assembly operations. Set up and operate tool room equipmentincluding lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machineryto produce components to tight tolerances. Measure, mark, scribe, and machine die components; verify accuracy using micrometers, gage blocks, dial indicators, and other precision tools. Fit, assemble, and align die components; perform hand-finishing using files, stones, and grinders. Conduct die tryouts, final adjustments, and inspections to ensure readiness for production. Troubleshoot die performance issues and execute repairs or improvements as needed. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support manufacturing needs. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
