In this contract assignment, you'll play an integral role supporting a busy, accredited acute care hospital recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. The facility offers a full range of medical services, creating an environment where advanced imaging is critical for patient care.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)ARRT (CT) registry preferred
- Minimum of 1 year recent CT imaging experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, safety guidelines, and radiation protection
- Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, clinicians, and patients
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and diagnostic quality
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring image clarity and safety
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and offering reassurance
- Accurately document procedures, patient data, and observations
- Observe proper infection control practices and comply with hospital safety policies
- Assist in coordinating and prioritizing imaging workflow based on patient needs
- Support emergency and on-call imaging services as required by department
- Actively engage in continuing education and departmental quality initiatives
