Childcare Director This position has responsibilities as a Childcare Director for Boys and Girls Clubs of Elko including day-to-day operations. The director provides leadership and training to teachers implementing services for all children utilizing screening and assessment tools. The director will supervise teachers and substitutes at 2 locations.
Responsibilities:- Meet State Child Care Licensing Requirements
- Complete education and training required by State Licensing
- Prepare required reports (grant renewal documents, monthly & quarterly reports, etc.)Ensure classroom coverage
- Attend and contribute at the management meetings
- Conduct teacher observations and provide feedback
- Conduct new hire 90 day and annual evaluations on teaching staff
- Provide on-the-job training for staff and substitute teachers through modeling and providing direct feedback
- Provide adequate supervision of staff including appropriate disciplinary action when required
- Conduct teacher observations
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
Experience: Administrative experience
