APPLY NOWAlldus is partnering with a fast-growing onsite power generation company to find a Plant Manager for a new large-scale natural gas facility in West Texas. The site is a several hundred MW reciprocating engine power plant serving critical, high-demand infrastructure. You will lead the facility end to end, with a total site headcount of more than 90 people, including direct reports in Operations, Maintenance, and Plant Administration. What you'll do:
- Take full P&L and operational accountability for plant safety, reliability, availability, and performance
- Lead and develop the Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Plant Administrator, and through them a workforce of 90+Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and permit requirements
- Own maintenance strategy, outage planning, and long-term asset health
- Set and manage budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as the senior site leader and key point of contact for customers, utility partners, and corporate leadership
What we're looking for:
- Proven leadership experience at a power generation facility, such as combined cycle, simple cycle, coal, or reciprocating engine plants
- Experience managing managers and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong technical competency in plant operations and maintenance, with the credibility to engage deeply on engineering issues
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) strongly preferred; equivalent technical background considered
- Solid understanding of safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory frameworks for generation assets
- A hands-on leader who balances people development with operational rigor
