We are seeking a self-motivated Women’s Sweater Designer with 5+ years of hands-on sweater design experience. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of sweater construction, can independently create detailed tech packs, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop women’s sweaters that reflect current market trends and our brand identity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic, technical, and production requirements.
Independently create and maintain complete, accurate tech packs, including measurements, construction details, yarn information, and stitch specifications.
Communicate directly with overseas factories regarding development, samples, revisions, and production details.
Review samples and provide clear feedback to achieve the intended design and quality.
Manage multiple styles and meet development deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in sweater design.
Strong understanding of yarns, knit stitches, gauges, sweater construction, and garment specifications.
Ability to independently prepare detailed, production-ready tech packs.
Experience communicating with overseas factories.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience using SharePoint.
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.
