Job Description:
The L&D Registered Nurse will be responsible for: Provide care and monitoring for patients during labor and childbirthAdminister medications and assist with pain management techniquesMonitor fetal heart rate and contractions using specialized equipmentAssist physicians during delivery, including vaginal and cesarean birthsSupport newborn care immediately after birth, including Apgar assessmentsDocument patient information and birth details accuratelyEducate and support families throughout the labor and delivery processEnsure a clean, safe, and emotionally supportive birthing environmentQualifications: Bachelor's degree is a plusCurrent (or ability to obtain) state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensureAt least two years of labor and delivery nursing experienceAPPLY TODAY with an updated resume to be considered!
