We are hiring Assembly / Machine Operators in Howell, MI to join a fast-paced automotive manufacturing team. This facility supports some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers by producing high-quality stamped and assembled vehicle components. Available Shifts1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM???? 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM???? 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AMMandatory overtime required Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate production and assembly equipment
- Work with stamped steel and aluminum automotive components
- Assemble automotive parts using production equipment and hand tools
- Perform spot welding and assembly operations
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Load and unload materials and finished products
- Perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- About the Work Environment
- This facility produces a wide variety of automotive components, including:
- Door panels
- HoodsRoof panels
- TailgatesWheel wells
- Floor panels
- Small interior support components
Large rolls of steel and aluminum coil are stamped into automotive parts, inspected for quality, assembled, and shipped directly to automotive customers worldwide.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or machine operating experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Must have excellent attendance and reliability
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
