Class C Manufacturing Mechanic/Technician

Compensation: $22 - $27 per/hr. The salary range for this position is $22.00/hour to $27.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.

Schedule: To be discussed during screening prior to interview, based on seniority per Union Contract.

Responsibilities include: spending a good part of the day maintaining and fixing industrial dryers, repairing carts, maintaining slings, taking on small projects, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and press machines. Conducting preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as needed.

Requirements include: a strong desire to learn industrial laundry maintenance and grow within the company, punctual and reliable a must - shift starts as early as 5:30 AM, high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred, minimum of 1 years of experience as a Class C Manufacturing Mechanic/Technician or similar role in an industrial setting, basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques, familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial manufacturing environment, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate maintenance records, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments.
