Job Description: Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift RNs in Med Surg Neuro!

Unit Overview: Join our dynamic Med Surg Neuro team on the 4th Floor North, specializing in tele and med/surg care. Engage with a diverse patient population including those recovering from strokes, surgeries, and various medical conditions. Shift Details:12-hour night shifts (1830-0700) Minimum of every other weekend requirement Limited block scheduling approved Patient Care: Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:5-6Types of Patients: Joint replacements, fractures, COPD exacerbations, sepsis, and more Responsibilities include titrating drips such as Heparin, Lidocaine, and Ketamine, along with using PCA pumps. Team Environment: Charge Nurse on each shift, assisting with patient care assignments Support from Nurse Aids/Patient Care Techs with ratios of 1:10-20 Tele/Monitor Techs available; RNs should have basic tele awareness. Orientation and Training:2 days of specialized unit orientation Pass/Fail open book exam on nursing skills during orientation (90% required to pass) Professional

Requirements: Active RN License requiredBLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory Must comply with fingernail policies: Artificial nails are prohibited Other Considerations:

• Must reside more than 50 miles from any CommonSpirit facility
• Travel experience preferred but strong new candidates welcome
• Must have a valid driver's license and no background hits
