After Care Program Team Member Orchard Farm School District, specifically Discovery Zone, is looking for team members to join our After Care program for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful team member's primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that advance all areas of children's development and learning, including social, emotional, intellectual, and physical competencies. Maintaining an orderly physical environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of students. Working with individuals and groups of students to support academics and behavior management. Learning new skills, having flexibility, and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, peers, parents, and staff members. Establishing rapport with families regarding their child's progress. Perform other duties assigned by the Before and After Care Lead Facilitator. Complying with the State of Missouri licensing regulations to safeguard the health and safety of children in the program. Participating in professional development related to the position. Maintain accurate student attendance. Supervision to ensure visual and auditory awareness of children at all times to ensure their safety.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years working with school-age children.
High energy and a desire to work with school-age children, and effective oral and written communication skills.
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Hours: MTWRF 3:00-6:00
Pay: $15.00
