- Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate to join its Management Labor Relations practice in St. Louis.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a labor attorney who wants to advise sophisticated employers on complex union and labor relations matters while working with an experienced, collaborative national team.
The Role:
Advise employers on labor relations matters under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).Represent clients in labor arbitrations and NLRB proceedings.
Handle unfair labor practice charges and related disputes.
Assist employers with union organizing campaigns and labor strategy.
Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
Provide practical, strategic counsel on complex labor and employment issues.
Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national practice.
Contribute to the continued growth of the Management Labor Relations practice.
Qualifications3–5 years of labor relations and union experience.
Experience advising employers under the NLRA.Experience with NLRB proceedings, labor arbitrations, collective bargaining, ULP charges, or union organizing.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills.
Excellent judgment and ability to navigate complex matters.
Team-oriented, proactive, and client-focused.
J.D. and active Missouri Bar admission required.
