Position Overview:
This is an advanced inpatient Gastroenterology opportunity requiring physicians who can independently provide both ERCP and EUS.The physician will provide 12 hours of in-house coverage for rounding, consultations, admissions and advanced GI procedures, followed by overnight beeper call. Providers must be available for complete 7–14 day coverage blocks.
Compensation:
Regular Clinical Pay: $550/hour12-Hour Clinical Day: $6,600 Additional compensation applies for overnight call, qualifying callback, overtime and holiday coverage. The compensation structure reflects the advanced procedural requirements and extended coverage commitment of the assignment.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in GastroenterologyERCP requiredEUS required
- Active New Mexico medical license
- Active NM Board of Pharmacy registrationDEA dedicated to New MexicoACLSBLSCurrent advanced endoscopy experience
- High-acuity inpatient GI experience
- Ability to cover complete 7–14 day blocks
- Comfortable supervising APPsClean background required for temporary privileges
