Psychiatry - PhysicianJob Title: Psychiatrist Location: Longview, Washington Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $201 - $216/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist: Provide psychiatric services in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings located approximately 5 minutes from each otherPerform rounding, admissions, and discharges for inpatient behavioral health patientsConduct outpatient clinic appointments including new patient evaluations (90-minute slots), transfer patient visits (60-minute slots), and follow-up appointments (30-minute slots) Manage an average of 1214 patients per day across both settingsWork with adult patient population in behavioral health specialtyCollaborate with on-site psych hospitalist (7a7p) and experienced psychiatric NP on inpatient floorTransition between inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities as scheduledMaintain current BLS certificationUtilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentationProvide documentation (case list) of clinical services rendered to a minimum of 100 patients within the previous 24 months, representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performedMaintain valid Washington State medical license (MD/DO) at time of presentationComply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions) Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation prior to startAdhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery Benefits for a Psychiatrist: Weekly pay every Friday Comprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance 24/7 Recruitment Support Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $5,000 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
