SR. SPECIALIST ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Location: Palm Bay, Florida Full time: SCHEDULE 9/80; every other Friday offCLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI with polygraph What you'll own • Design circuit card assemblies (CCAs) using mixed-signal technologies, including A/D and D/A conversion, processors, I/O communications and programmable logic such as FPGA and CPLD devices. • Own the digital CCA design lifecycle: requirements generation, preliminary design, peer review, detailed design, test-plan development, integration and verification. • Create schematics, functional and block diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams spanning digital, analog, power and mixed-signal designs. • Develop solutions using Xilinx FPGAs, TI DSPs, Freescale or Intel processors, microcontrollers, CPLDs and volatile or non-volatile memory, including DDRx, SRAM, ROM and Flash. • Apply advanced board technologies such as HDI, Meg6 and back drilling, and design high-speed DDRx memory interfaces. • Use schematic-capture, constraint-driven layout, simulation and timing-analysis tools to independently generate robust digital CCA solutions. • Partner with Systems, Mechanical, Software, Firmware and Electrical Engineering teams and technicians; contribute to customer reviews and project execution.
