Jitney Driver

Jitney Driver Ability to operate a forklift safely. Be able to safely load, unload and transport veneer, core or finished panels to and from machine centers. Unbanding wood and loading the line to the Spreader. Stack and unstack material in designated storage areas. Good reading and writing skills. Ability to keep up with the flow of production and keep orders straight. Perform any other duties designated by supervisor. Blowout forklift at the end of each day, wear required PPE and seat belt. Major tasks include performing all job functions in a safe manner, regular attendance, essential physical functions, completing work with accuracy and efficiency, performing other job duties as assigned, and adhering to company policies. High school degree or GED, ability to operate forklift, strong math skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records, comfort working independently in a safe efficient pace, and ability to learn and use company specific software.
